About the Company

McLeod Health

Regional not-for-profit healthcare system

McLeod Health runs a regional, not-for-profit health system with hospitals, clinics, and related care in Northeast South Carolina and Southeast North Carolina. It provides inpatient and outpatient services across acute beds, emergency and urgent care, neonatal care, behavioral health, hospice, home health, cancer care, and advanced surgical suites in 30 operating rooms. It distinguishes itself as locally owned and community-focused, with a broad network of facilities that coordinate care across towns rather than operating as a for-profit chain. Its goal is to improve community health by expanding access to comprehensive, coordinated care using advanced facilities and services.
