Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline is required, preferably in engineering or supply chain.
  • At least four years of documented world-class Lean manufacturing, transactional, or functional experience is required.
  • Experience with distribution, warehousing, or logistics facilities is beneficial.
  • Some understanding of warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, and enterprise resource planning systems is beneficial.
  • Strong written, oral communication, and presentation skills are required to communicate effectively with various site-level audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal and high-performance team-building skills are required to develop collaborative relationships and influence across organizational lines.
  • Ability to facilitate group activities and discussions using a defined process is required.
  • The candidate must be viewed credibly as an informal leader or positive influencer of change.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing work environment is required.
  • Ability to influence, persuade, convince, and facilitate Lean culture change in an environment with varying acceptance is required.
  • Knowledge of personal computer applications, including Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint, is required.
  • Excellent team facilitation skills are required.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
  • Support the Operational Excellence Manager and the value stream in implementing Lean transformation and daily management across the value stream.
  • Gather data for key performance indicators, evaluate the current state, and propose future-state goals and objectives.
  • Implement tactical strategies to achieve the desired vision.
  • Execute long- and short-term objectives supporting the value stream’s goals.
  • Work with site personnel to identify, address, and eliminate process-related obstacles.
  • Assist with changes to systems and processes required to support Lean initiatives.
  • Use value stream mapping techniques to design optimal information, material, and production flow methods.
  • Act as a change agent to improve the manufacturing process through active support, participation, and leadership of rapid improvement events and projects.
  • Own pre- and post-standard work.
  • Lead or facilitate continuous improvement projects and events.
  • Participate in Gemba walks and coach employees on continuous improvement, standard work development, modification and adherence, flow, takt-time attainment, and problem-solving abnormalities.
  • Provide training on Lean transformation tools and methodology.
  • Update and maintain visual performance tools, including Mission Control and MDI boards.
  • Follow up on action plans.
  • Assist teams as needed to ensure improvements are made and sustained.
  • Support value stream analysis events.
  • Conduct cycle-time analyses, time studies, line-balance improvements, and workplace-analysis improvements.
  • Create and implement standard work and teach or coach line leaders to do the same.
  • Implement and coach the use of cell-control boards and other visual-management tools.
  • Lead, coach, and assist teams in problem-solving activities.
  • Resolve issues after continuous improvement events to achieve the desired state.
  • Assist in identifying ongoing training needs.
  • Support communication of Lean transformation and daily management initiatives to employees.
  • Use a change-management model.
  • Ensure high levels of engagement for participants in continuous improvement events.
  • Drive change by coaching employees and leaders to adopt Lean behaviors, principles, and practices.
  • Examine and evaluate areas after improvements are implemented.
  • Post and update results on Mission Control boards.
  • Review new procedures and controls, appraise operational efficiency and effectiveness, and work with the Operational Excellence Manager, Site Leader, Department Managers, and Supervisors to resolve implementation or maintenance issues.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics.
  • Support and meet departmental, plant, and corporate environmental, health, and safety goals while working safely and efficiently.
  • Perform other duties identified by the Value Stream Coach to further the site’s Lean manufacturing initiative.

Allegion beats Q2 estimates with $1.15B revenue, stock soars 8.3%

Allegion, a security hardware provider, reported second-quarter revenue of $1.15 billion, beating analyst estimates by 3.1% and marking 12.7% year-on-year growth. The company's non-GAAP earnings of $2.40 per share exceeded consensus estimates by 8.3%. Adjusted EBITDA reached $296.7 million with a 25.8% margin, surpassing expectations by 7.9%. Organic revenue rose 6.9% year on year. Management raised its full-year adjusted earnings guidance to $8.93 at the midpoint, a 1.4% increase. Operating margin held steady at 22.1% compared to the same quarter last year, whilst free cash flow margin declined to 15.7% from 18.8%. Allegion unveils Schlage XE360 with RealSync at Apartmentalize 2026

Allegion US is unveiling new interoperable electronic access control solutions at NAA Apartmentalize 2026, including integrations between Schlage Zentra and Gatewise platforms. Allegion launches first campus-to-community student housing solution with mobile wallet access

Allegion US has launched Campus-to-Community Student Living, a unified mobile-first ecosystem designed for off-campus student housing operators. The solution integrates hardware, mobile credentials and software partners to create an interoperable environment connecting campus and community living spaces. At its core is Schlage's Resident Key, available in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, enabling students to access residences, amenities and campus facilities via iPhone, Apple Watch, Android phones and Wear OS smartwatches. The platform aims to address challenges including compressed turnover cycles and disconnected technology systems. Earlier this year, Allegion partnered with Preiss, IRIS Technologies and Quext to deploy the nation's first off-campus student housing mobile wallet experience at The Collective at Norman, serving University of Oklahoma students. BofA cuts Allegion target to $150 on weak Q1 results and lower sector multiples

BofA has lowered its price target for Allegion plc to $150 from $157, maintaining a Neutral rating following weaker-than-expected first-quarter performance and lower sector multiples. The security products company reported $1.03 billion in revenue for Q1 2026, up 9.7% year-on-year. However, adjusted earnings per share fell 3.2% to $1.80. Operating income declined 0.6% to $195.3 million, whilst both operating margin (18.9%) and adjusted operating margin (21.2%) decreased from the previous year. CEO John H. Stone highlighted strong revenue growth in the Americas' non-residential and electronics businesses. Allegion operates through two segments: Allegion Americas and Allegion International, providing security products and solutions.
