About the company

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Haven still posted Montreal roles in August 2026, signaling active development.
  • PlayStation kept backing Haven after Raymond's 2025 exit with new co-leads.
  • A 2026 launch gives Sony a rare first-party live-service release.

What critics are saying

  • Bloomberg reported poor external-test feedback and Jade Raymond's May 2025 exit.
  • Gamespot reported Daniel Drapeau left in September 2025, weakening Fairgame$ leadership.
  • Sony canceled Concord; another failed Fairgame$ test can kill Haven entirely.

What makes Haven Studios unique

  • Sony owns Haven Studios, giving Fairgame$ PlayStation marketing and platform priority.
  • The founding team brought Ubisoft, EA, and Google pedigree into Montreal.
  • Fairgame$ targets a rare PlayStation heist live-service niche, not another fantasy shooter.
