Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • 7+ years of Product Management experience, with at least 2 years focused on information security.
  • Strong understanding of security principles, risk management frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Experience with cloud security architectures and data protection regulations.
  • Builder mentality with a strong technical background.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments.
  • Successful track record in product launches and go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive security roadmap that aligns with business objectives and addresses evolving threats.
  • Independently identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and drive the development of effective mitigation strategies.
  • Stay current with industry security standards and ensure our platform adheres to these standards.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of robust access control mechanisms to protect sensitive data.
  • Collaborate with engineering, legal, Cybersecurity, and operations teams to foster a security-first culture and ensure seamless integration of security measures.
  • Translate security and access concerns into actionable product features while fostering innovation within the team.
  • Work closely with various teams across The Trade Desk to make security a shared responsibility and support our Cyber Security group in building a leading security operation.

The Trade Desk provides a demand-side platform (DSP) that allows advertisers to purchase digital advertising space automatically across various channels, including display, social media, and connected TV. The platform uses real-time bidding (RTB) to facilitate live auctions for ad impressions, giving clients the ability to optimize their campaigns effectively. What sets The Trade Desk apart is its focus on transparency in measurement and reporting, enabling advertisers to see the performance of their campaigns clearly. The company's goal is to help clients achieve better advertising results while generating revenue through platform usage fees and additional services like data analytics.
