Solution EngineeringImplementation & Technical Account Management

About the job

Requirements
  • 12+ years of technology delivery experience, with a career grounded in SI programs designing and governing technical solutions across heterogeneous platform landscapes rather than single-platform implementations.
  • Hands-on technical depth across at least three of the program's platforms: ServiceNow platform configuration, integration, and workflow design; Blue Prism RPA process and object studio and orchestration; REST/SOAP API design and governance; or Sisense or equivalent BI platform architecture.
  • Proven integration architecture experience defining API contracts, managing cross-platform data flows, and governing integration across infrastructure boundaries in a live SI delivery context.
  • Experience working beneath an Enterprise Architect, operating within an architectural framework, escalating correctly, and not overreaching into enterprise-level decisions.
  • Technical governance experience including design reviews, technical standards enforcement, environment management, and configuration control on complex SI programs.
  • Availability for onsite, client-side presence as the embedded technical authority.
Responsibilities
  • Own technical design across the full platform stack, translating enterprise architecture decisions into implementable, delivery-ready technical specifications.
  • Define and govern the technical design for each platform workstream, including data models, workflow logic, integration contracts, automation architecture, and reporting layer design.
  • Maintain technical design consistency across platforms and prevent conflicting decisions or rework between workstreams.
  • Own and maintain living technical design documentation, including solution design documents, interface specifications, data flow diagrams, and technical decision logs.
  • Operate within enterprise architecture decisions; escalate platform constraints or delivery realities requiring enterprise-level decisions, without substituting technology choices for architecture choices.
  • Own integration architecture across platform boundaries, including connections, data flows, and failure handling across ServiceNow, Blue Prism, orchestration, APIs, and Sisense.
  • Define precise API contracts and integration specifications for independent implementation and testing by Accenture and client development teams.
  • Govern integration design across Accenture-managed and client-hosted infrastructure, defining boundary crossings, security, and monitoring.
  • Identify and resolve integration design conflicts before they become system integration testing defects or go-live blockers.
  • Own the technical approach to BOT-to-platform integration, including how Blue Prism bots interact with ServiceNow workflows, consume API responses, and feed Sisense data pipelines.
  • Define and enforce technical standards across program workstreams, including coding standards, naming conventions, error handling patterns, logging requirements, and security baselines.
  • Run structured technical design reviews at delivery gates, including PRDs, build completion, and system integration testing entry; document outcomes and track remediation.
  • Identify and manage technical debt, surface it explicitly, quantify delivery risk, and ensure program leadership has visibility for informed decisions.
  • Govern configuration management across platforms, including version control, environment promotion standards, and change control for technical artefacts.
  • Act as the technical authority for delivery teams, providing decisive guidance grounded in the implementation.
  • Own technical design for the hybrid infrastructure model across Accenture-managed and client-hosted environments, defining boundaries, interfaces, and security controls.
  • Define environment architecture across DEV, SIT, UAT, and PROD, including consistent configuration, promotion standards, and technical readiness criteria.
  • Govern technical environment setup and release promotion to ensure deployments are repeatable, documented, and avoid configuration drift.
  • Manage technical dependencies on client infrastructure by coordinating access, configuration, and environment readiness with client technical teams while retaining technical accountability.
  • Provide technical direction to ServiceNow, RPA, API, and Sisense development teams through design clarification, technical problem-solving, and architectural guidance throughout the build cycle.
  • Review delivery teams' code, configuration, and integration implementations against design specifications; raise deviations early and track their resolution.
  • Support the Test Lead on technical test design, including integration architecture test coverage, environment configuration, defect root cause analysis, and test data architecture.
  • Contribute to go-live readiness through infrastructure readiness, configuration validation, technical risk assessment, and post-go-live monitoring design.
  • Engage client technical stakeholders, including client architects, infrastructure teams, and security teams, as the primary Accenture technical contact for platform and integration design decisions.
  • Translate technical design into clear, non-technical language for business and program stakeholders where required while maintaining precision.
  • Represent technical design in client technical governance forums, defend decisions with evidence, acknowledge constraints, and escalate where client decisions create technical risk.
Desired Qualifications
  • ServiceNow platform certification such as CIS, CAD, or equivalent, demonstrating platform depth beyond configuration familiarity.
  • Blue Prism Developer or Architect certification and hands-on RPA design and orchestration experience in an SI context.
  • Experience governing hybrid infrastructure technical design across two or more hosting environments with different access, security, and configuration models.
  • Banking or Financial Services SI background and familiarity with banking clients' security, compliance, and control requirements for technical architecture.
  • Experience with Sisense data architecture, including data model design, pipeline integration, and dashboard layer technical governance.

TÜV SÜD and Accenture unveil physical AI safety suite to bring factories online up to 30% sooner

TÜV SÜD and Accenture are working with NVIDIA technologies to speed up safety certification of robots in factories and warehouses. They unveiled a joint "Physical AI Safety Suite" at NVIDIA GTC Berlin. The suite uses digital twins, AI agents, and simulations to partly replace manual assessments. TÜV SÜD estimates the digital process could bring production online up to 30% sooner. Certification against standards such as ISO 3691-4 is mandatory in many industrial countries before automated facilities can start. At a medium-sized plant, agreeing on safety concepts can take several weeks. The suite checks layouts, robot fleets, and individual robots before deployment. TÜV SÜD provides independent assessment and keeps responsibility for certification.

Accenture caps staff AI spending at $29 a month after $1,000 bills

Accenture has capped employee AI spending at $29 (£21.75) a month after some staff ran up bills of $1,000, according to a report by 404 Media. The consulting firm wants to curb runaway costs as employees use AI for more everyday tasks. Companies are typically billed by usage, like a utility. Last week, some staff were told their access to Anthropic's Claude had been pulled entirely. Others are also reining in costs. Uber capped engineers' Claude spending at $1,500 a month after using up its AI budget in four months, while Microsoft has reportedly cut its Claude spending by about a third. The curbs come as Anthropic prepares for a public listing, targeting a valuation as high as $2tn. Investors are reportedly considering about $1.5tn.
