About the Role:
You will report to our new Head of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). It will be based in our Seattle office, and will be a hybrid role. You will run current operations in Third Party Risk, looking for operational enhancement opportunities and how the program can be improved. It’s a great opportunity to be hands on and start building something new.

You Will:
- Manage the Third Party Risk Management program
- Facilitate the identification and remediation of operational issues in the program
- Guide continuous evolution of the Third Party Risk Management program
- Identify opportunities for synergies across the organization
- Coordinate with our teams and third parties to conduct criticality assessments, due diligence reviews, resolve incidents and implement corrective actions
- Manage the end to end lifecycle of a third party relationship from onboarding to termination
- Participate in the development and testing of third party contingency arrangements
- Maintain a centralized repository of third-party risk information and documentation
- Define third party risk management policies, procedures, and standards
- Ensure third-party risk management practices are aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and the board on third-party risk exposure and mitigation efforts
- Provide training and awareness programs to internal stakeholders on third-party risk management practices
- Leverage synergies between country risk programs and third party risk programs
You Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, or a related field. Master’s degree or professional certification is a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in risk management, vendor management, or a related role, preferably in the financial services or remittance industry
- Experience with third-party risk management frameworks, tools, and best practices
- A good understanding of the principles of risk management, control, and assurance
- Experience with regulatory requirements related to third-party risk
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Flexible to work across multiple time zones
Compensation Details. The starting base salary range for this position is typically $125,000-$140,000. In the U.S., Remitly employees are shareholders in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
