Java Developer - SharePoint / PowerApps Development
About the job
- Strong experience with Java and modern Java frameworks such as Spring Boot or similar.
- Experience working with or replacing low-code platforms such as PowerApps.
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint, Logic Apps, and Function Apps.
- Basic familiarity with React and ability to adapt to new frontend frameworks.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, integration patterns, and cloud-native design.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of observability practices including logs, metrics, and tracing.
- Design, develop, and maintain modern Java-based services using clean architecture and best practices.
- Contribute to migrating or replacing low-code platforms such as PowerApps with custom-built, maintainable solutions.
- Build APIs and backend services that integrate with Microsoft ecosystem components during the transition phase.
- Work across SharePoint, Logic Apps, and Azure Function Apps.
- Support hybrid solutions during migration phases while reducing dependency on low-code tooling over time.
- Work closely with product, user experience, and DevOps teams to replace or evolve PowerApps-based solutions into well-architected services and lightweight frontends, ensuring quality, observability, and delivery excellence.
