Requirements
- A current and valid driver's license is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of automotive sales experience is required.
- Excellent customer service experience is required.
- Working knowledge of automotive retail center computer systems, or the ability to be trained in them, is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills are required.
- An outgoing and patient personality with strong customer-relations ability is required.
- A professional personal appearance is required.
Responsibilities
- Explain the aspects of buying or leasing to all customers using current product and pricing information.
- Follow up with and retain current and previous customers through direct phone calls and sponsored customer events.
- Achieve high customer-satisfaction ratings by responding to customer needs and resolving customer problems or complaints quickly.
- Maintain product and service knowledge by attending trade shows or educational programs, establishing personal networks, reviewing industry publications, and participating in professional societies.
- Handle sales transactions correctly by tracking and submitting all necessary documentation.
- Use sales prospecting and follow-up systems to increase retail facility business through CDK, Eleads, Automotive Mastermind, and similar systems.
- Keep clients informed of changes before delivery.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Honda or Acura sales experience is preferred.
- Experience with CDK and Eleads is strongly preferred.
