- Experience servicing HVAC products and equipment for service work and site maintenance.
- Ability to use hand tools and follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
- Ability to identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications.
- Ability to examine building layouts, anticipate installation and repair difficulties, gather materials, and coordinate on-site work.
- Ability to inspect and maintain service vehicles, including maintaining service records and scheduling repairs.
- Ability to inspect equipment for wear and report findings to customers or the Operations Manager.
- Ability to determine parts required for repairs and the required timing.
- Ability to read and interpret product specifications.
- Ability to provide technical support to customers.
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
- Willingness to travel regularly, including some overnight travel.
- Service products and equipment on assigned projects while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations.
- Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
- Prepare for on-site installations and repairs by examining building layouts, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating on-site work.
- Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness.
- Maintain vehicles by keeping service records, scheduling repairs, and completing repair and maintenance services.
- Maintain equipment by inspecting it for signs of wear and notifying the customer or Operations Manager of findings.
- Document each job by completing paperwork and maintaining job files, including daily time, progress, and duration.
- Represent the company as a direct customer contact.
- Determine repair parts and order them according to repair needs and timing.
- Record parts, materials, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data for each assignment and return unused resources.
- Submit all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner.
- Keep current on products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair.
- Provide technical support to customers.
