Requirements
  • Deep knowledge of payroll processes and experience of optimizing them
  • Working with external payroll providers and Employer of Records
  • Experience of operating within a global business environment
  • Experience of working within internally and externally regulated frameworks e.g. ISO, Internal Audit requirements, SOX controls or similar
  • CIPP qualification and membership desirable
Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of payroll within the UK, with administration of some additional small international payrolls
  • Reviewing processed payroll for corrections
  • Ensure compliance with legislation and reporting requirements
  • Handle holiday, absence, PILON and sick pay calculations where required
  • Overseeing HMRC-related payroll returns
  • Participating in system improvements
  • Working closely with our tax team to run and manage year-end procedures, including preparation of P11Ds for employees
  • Maintaining internal controls and audit compliance
  • Managing pension, health care, CTW and other payroll related enrollments
  • Ensuring new employees and changes in our HRIS system (Workday) integrate and are reflected accurately in the payroll system
  • Provide advice and support regarding pay review, benchmarking etc
  • Provide general guidance to employees as required (e.g. on pensions, benefits in kind and end of year tax returns (if applicable)
  • Support on global mobility activities, ensuring smooth transition for employees between current and future locations and payroll systems
  • Ensure that our equity vesting (sell to cover) is reflected and managed accurately and compliantly within payroll
