About the job
- Significant experience with Microsoft technologies, including Fabric, Synapse, or Data Factory.
- Knowledge of open table formats such as Iceberg or Delta, and NoSQL technologies such as Mongo and Cosmos DB.
- Knowledge of open-source technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Fivetran, Streamlit, and dbt.
- Strong Python, Spark, and SQL skills for data automation and analysis, including familiarity with tools such as Pandas, DuckDB, Polars, or NumPy.
- Ability to work autonomously and communicate with internal teams and clients.
- Interest in learning and implementing new technologies and practices in complex environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively on cross-functional projects.
- A degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or a similar field at Bac+5 level or equivalent.
- At least 1 or 2 years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Fluency in French and good command of English.
- Valid work permit.
- Design and implement data pipelines using a range of market technologies.
- Analyze and integrate data from client sources, including SQL databases, APIs, flat files, and operational systems, to provide solutions tailored to each project.
- Develop flexible, scalable, and optimized unified data platforms for cloud or on-premises environments.
- Use Python, Spark, or SQL to implement data transformations.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure deliverable quality and implementation deadlines are met.
- Propose new technologies and methodologies to meet client needs.
- Provide technical support to clients throughout projects, from design through production deployment.
- Train clients and internal teams on data management best practices and tools.
- An interest in Data Science is an optional advantage.
