Role Overview
Coupang is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic Staff Data Analyst to join our Growth Analytics team. This team drives growth across all Coupang’s business lines via deep-dive, complex analytics and data science. The Growth Analytics team uses sophisticated analytics and techniques to thoroughly understand how to deliver operational excellence and a world-class customer experience.
Basic Qualifications
The ideal candidate has 6-10 years of experience and a graduate-level education. This person will work directly with senior leaders in the marketing, engineering, and finance organizations. Eagerness to learn and a desire to generate outsized returns are a plus.
· Take on vital strategic projects to help Coupang growth
· Dive deep into Coupang’s marketing and product performance at extreme granularity to identify new ways to scale the business
· Have excellent presentation skills, especially for large and varied audiences
· Be able to identify business drivers via data and analysis, and comfortable presenting findings to senior leadership
· Strongly motivated to ask difficult questions and find novel methods of answering them through data
What we’re looking for
· 6+ years experience in data analysis, corporate finance, or product marketing with 4+ years related experience
· Fluent in SQL and data automation
· Experience with extracting metrics and presenting complex analyses to non-technical audiences
· Deep understanding of marketing across electronic devices
· Experience handling complex projects and initiatives that can materially impact a business
· Knowledge of analytics tools
· Knowledge of intermediate statistics
Preferred Qualifications
· MBA preferred, or graduate degree in a relevant field
Pay & Benefits
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. At Coupang, your base pay is one part of your total compensation.
The base pay for this position ranges from $142,000 / year in our lowest geographic market to $200,000 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
