  • A bachelor’s degree or relevant industry certification(s) in the field being applied to.
  • Related professional work experience in the field being applied to.
  • Ability to present curriculum in a classroom or lab environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Additional qualifications may be requested as relevant to the academic department.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States.
  • Employment is contingent on proof of eligibility to work under the Immigration Reform and Control Act and successful completion of a background check, including employer verification, reference checks, criminal history checks, and, when applicable, credit or driving history checks.
Responsibilities
  • Teach courses within the assigned discipline area in accordance with institutional standards.
  • Evaluate and assess student learning outcomes.
  • Provide student support, mentoring, and academic advising.
  • Develop curriculum and periodically review and update instructional materials.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience teaching in workforce development, adult education, continuing education, or non-credit training programs, particularly short-term certificate or credential-aligned programs.
  • Experience designing or delivering customized training programs onsite, online, or in hybrid formats.
  • Knowledge of current industry trends and workforce needs.
  • Two or more years of practical experience in the field being applied to, with an understanding of industry credentialing or licensure requirements.
