Support the project management team with subcontractor and supplier coordination, material tracking, file management, document control for submittals, requests for information, and change orders, and progress reporting.
Learn and perform project management functions including estimating, schedule planning, project controls, and project reporting.

Interact with clients, managers, and employees professionally.
Perform other assigned duties.
Travel between the project site and corporate office as required.

We are currently seeking Project Engineer Interns to join our Summer 2027 Internship Program.
Summary/Objective
An integral team member who collaborates on the management and execution of a project safely and profitably.
Essential Functions

Work Environment
Employees will be working on heavy civil and highway construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat, and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
The incumbent regularly sits for long periods at a desk in front of a computer screen.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time internship for 12 weeks during the summer. This is a nonexempt position.
Travel
The role requires some travel between the project site and corporate office.
Required Education and Experience
Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, or other relevant fields of study.
