  • Experience defining and leading global paid media strategy across the full marketing funnel.
  • Experience managing paid media planning and execution across paid search, paid social, programmatic display, sponsored content, digital out-of-home, retargeting and emerging media.
  • Knowledge of paid media governance, campaign setup, targeting, creative requirements, measurement, optimization and reporting.
  • Ability to allocate media investment and align spend priorities with business objectives, audience opportunities, campaign performance and commercial outcomes.
  • Experience advancing measurement frameworks, attribution and performance insight capabilities.
  • Ability to balance global consistency with regional relevance across local markets.
  • Experience collaborating across demand generation, social, web, search engine optimization, content, analytics, marketing automation and campaign operations.
  • Experience developing scalable paid media frameworks and campaign blueprints.
  • Experience leading agency, platform and vendor performance.
  • Ability to use audience expansion, creative optimization, channel-mix testing and emerging media pilots to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Experience applying artificial intelligence, automation, advanced audience strategies, emerging channels and evolving measurement approaches to paid media.
  • Ability to communicate media strategy, performance insights and recommendations to senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
Responsibilities
  • Own the global paid media strategy and operating model for digital campaigns across the full funnel.
  • Set standards for paid media planning, execution, governance, measurement and optimization across regions and solution lines.
  • Drive return on investment through performance management, testing, audience strategy and budget effectiveness.
  • Lead and develop the paid media team, ensuring clear priorities, stakeholder engagement and high-quality delivery.
  • Define and lead global paid media activity in support of digital marketing priorities, audience strategy and commercial growth objectives.
  • Manage global paid media planning and execution across digital campaign channels.
  • Establish standards for campaign setup, targeting, creative requirements, measurement, optimization and reporting.
  • Strategically allocate paid media investment and govern spend priorities.
  • Partner with analytics and marketing technology teams to strengthen measurement and attribution.
  • Partner with regional chief marketing officers and marketing teams to adapt campaigns for local market needs while maintaining strategic alignment.
  • Collaborate with the digital leadership team to deliver integrated, full-funnel digital journeys.
  • Develop scalable paid media frameworks and blueprints for repeatable campaign activation.
  • Lead agency, platform and vendor performance to ensure value, transparency, operational excellence and measurable return on spend.
  • Champion test-and-learn approaches across audiences, creative, channel mix and emerging media.
  • Drive digital transformation and innovation across paid media through artificial intelligence, automation and emerging channels.
  • Set team priorities, build capability, coach team members and create accountability, collaboration, learning and performance.
  • Establish paid media as a strategic growth lever across the global marketing organization.
  • Improve marketing investment effectiveness through governance, measurement and optimization.
  • Strengthen digital marketing maturity through scalable operating models, innovation and capability development.
  • Monitor campaign key performance indicators including reach, engagement, audience quality, cost efficiency, conversion, pipeline influence and return on investment.
  • Drive adoption of global paid media standards, governance frameworks, operating models, measurement approaches and campaign blueprints.
  • Optimize paid media spend through targeting, channel selection, creative testing, performance reporting and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Measure team performance, engagement and capability growth.

Bohnert named EMEA MD of Life Solutions, Strategy and Technology Group. Insurance and reinsurance broker Aon has announced the appointment of Dr. Fabian Bohnert as EMEA Managing Director of Life Solutions, Strategy and Technology Group, effective immediately. Based in Stuttgart, Bohnert will lead Life Solutions, including the firm's PathWise platform, across Germany and the DACH region, overseeing advisory, capital and technology strategy to help clients address complex business priorities, build resilience and pursue profitable growth. The executive will also serve as UK and EMEA Head of PathWise AI, where he will drive the development of AI-enabled consulting and solution offerings for life and annuity clients across the region. He will be reporting to Ka Hei Choi, UK and EMEA Managing Director, Life Risk Modelling, Strategy and Technology Group for Aon, Van Beach, Global Head of Life Solutions, Aon, said: "Fabian's appointment highlights our commitment to helping clients apply cutting-edge technology in Germany and the DACH region.
