eBay is seeking a People Business Partner, Sr. Manager. This role, reporting to a Sr. Director of People, will support eBay’s Global Finance Organization, focusing on the Corporate and Business Finance Planning & Analysis teams and foundational Finance teams like Tax,CAO, Treasury, etc!

The ideal candidate will be an influential leader, capable of working with a diverse group of senior leaders with varying styles. This individual is encouraged to understand the business objectives of eBay and the organizations they support and provide the appropriate people expertise, strategic feedback, insight, and solutions to deliver business results. This candidate must be capable of working in and through a fast-paced, global matrix management environment with both business and People Team!

What You Will Accomplish:

• Strategic People Business Partner: Understand the business and teams supported, top to bottom. Partner with business leaders to develop business objectives and plans understanding how to craft and implement People strategies to ensure the talent, leadership, organization, and culture are optimized to deliver business results.
• People Program Activation: Understand your organization’s strategic goals and activate the appropriate corporate people programs, strategies and processes pertinent to rewards & compensation, staffing, talent management/OD, employee relations and learning to achieve business results.
• Executive Coaching: Strengthen the senior leadership team of each function by providing mentoring and counseling to senior executives to further develop their leadership capability.
• Organizational Efficiency: Partner with senior executives and leadership teams of the client organizations to boost organizational capability through to deliver against the business strategies and objectives of the businesses.
• HR Analytics: Use data to build insights that drive and measure efficiency of people strategies.
• Leadership: Improve People capability by partnering with other members of the People team to develop and implement new and / or improved programs and processes. Bring new People expertise and capability to the eBay People team. Participate in the ongoing development of the People org strategic direction for the business and company.

What You Will Bring:

• Dedication to working the Hybrid Model with 3 days per week onsite at our corporate headquarters in San Jose.
• ​Bachelor Degree required; MBA/Masters preferred.
• 8~10+ years of human resources experience (esp. people business partnering).
• Business savvy with relevant tech industry experience, and good understanding of business fundamentals like business models, strategies, and operations, and acute Financial acumen.
• Solid understanding of a complete organizational system and taking into account the full range of interactions among all parts of an issue or challenge
• Adept at consulting, coaching, facilitating, leading change, and Project Management.
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter, Bias towards action, outcome-focused.
• Data Driven and Analytical and excellent at leveraging data to tell the story and drive action.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
