The employee must be able to stand for the entire shift in a warm, damp environment and exert up to 50 pounds as needed.
The employee must maneuver safely throughout walk-in areas and the kitchen during the shift.
The employee must safely handle and operate knives, a meat slicer, digital scales, an automatic dish machine, and chemical solvents.
The employee must be able to reach overhead, carry or transport sheet pans, bend below the waist, crouch, and communicate intentions to coworkers.
The employee must maintain a regular schedule in line with restaurant business levels, which may vary, and follow checklist protocols and cleanliness standards.
The employee must maintain high standards of personal grooming, wear the proper uniform, and wear a facial mask and gloves when required by regulation.

Responsibilities

Clean and store small wares and silverware promptly and efficiently while maintaining a clean and safe working area and sanitary working environment for themselves and coworkers.
Approach guest encounters in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
Continuously clean high-touch points throughout the workstation.

The Dishwasher’s main objective is to provide timely and efficient cleaning and storing of all small wares and silverware while maintaining a clean and safe working area. They must perform these duties in such a manner as to maintain a clean, safe and sanitary working environment for themselves and co-workers. This job is located in our Restaurant in the Bluffs Shopping Center in Jupiter.

Since 1981 TooJay’s New York-style Deli has been a fan favorite. With several locations across Florida, we are famous for piled-high sandwiches, hearty portions of homemade comfort foods and made-from-scratch soups, salads and baked goods.
