  • BS/BA Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • APICS CPIM certification
  • Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt / Lead Master certifications (preferred)
  • 6-8 years Operations/Materials experience
  • 4 years Leadership experience
  • Current computer skills (Microsoft Office Advanced Excel user preferred, Visio, Business Objects, etc.)
  • MRP / Kanban experience (ERP-LX or BPICS preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with all levels of external and internal customers
  • Effective verbal/written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong bias for action, and effective change agent
  • Proficiency in managing and facilitating teams through problem solving and conflict resolutions
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple priorities
Responsibilities
  • Maintains consistent leadership for materials planning and inventory control personnel
  • Develops and manages critical performance goals for materials team
  • Leads, manages, and directs all materials related processes
  • Identifies material planning training deficiencies and facilitates education sessions
  • Assures appropriate ordering parameters and vendor expediting actions
  • Prioritizes IT efforts in developing information and systems for Operations team
  • Serves as liaison with other business processes to assure business goals are met
  • Responsible for controlling purchase order execution for the facility
