Responsibilities
- Head production for motors manufacturing.
- Manage end-to-end project timelines, budgets, and work packages in alignment with customer milestones.
- Drive industrialization and localization projects within the Bosch International Production Network framework, with structured planning, monitoring, and reporting of project progress.
- Organize and lead project review meetings with lead plants, production plants, suppliers, and cross-functional teams; act as the single point of contact between manufacturing plants and project stakeholders.
- Track milestones for child part localization, manufacturing assembly equipment and tooling orders, equipment delivery, installation and commissioning, and final release for production.
- Ensure production-line readiness for start of production, including validation and release, and verify adherence to quality, safety, and process standards.
- Identify and prioritize project timeline, cost, and quality risks; develop and implement mitigation plans.
- Organize and facilitate Production Guideline workshops to finalize production-line concepts, confirm feasibility, and align on investment requirements.
- Conduct supplier visits, coordinate technical matters, monitor supplier deliverables, and support issue resolution.
- Ensure handover to production plant teams, including complete documentation, process validation reports, and lessons learned.
- Implement organizational standards, including 5S, health, safety and environment, quality systems, electrostatic discharge compliance, documentation, and standardization.
- Provide system-related guidance and mentoring to colleagues.
- Drive standardization and documentation of project management processes and tools, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
- Lead daily leadership routines and sustain standards through process confirmation.
- Review and achieve value-stream key performance indicators using systematic methods such as Plan-Do-Check-Act.
- Plan and execute Bosch Production System maturity improvements.
- Plan and support implementation of Industry 4.0 and the digital roadmap for the value stream.
- Coordinate with internal customers and cross-functional teams to develop holistic key performance indicators.
- Identify training needs and build shop-floor competencies.
- Implement plant and regional business unit strategy.
- Implement environmental, health and safety, information technology security, and compliance guidelines.
- Improve team and organizational performance.
- Manage respective quality management system manufacturing processes and materials management related to the production area.
- Ensure value-added cost and product-type-wise delivery fulfilment; track first-pass yield, in-delivery compliance, quality key performance indicators, Bosch Production System maturity score, new product introduction measures, and continuous improvement project outcomes.
- Lead and conduct system continuous improvement workshops, review system continuous improvement projects, and coach teams.
- Coordinate plant-to-plant product transfers with the International Production Network or lead plant when needed.
- Realize industrialization of new products when needed.
