Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field is required.
  • At least 2 years of PLC programming experience, including projects completed in college, is required.
  • Ability to apply engineering concepts and perform engineering calculations related to control system designs for the water and wastewater industry is required.
  • Knowledge of test equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide project electrical engineering and design services related to pump station control systems.
  • Design and implement control programs for programmable logic controllers and human-machine interfaces.
  • Select appropriate hardware to fulfill customer specifications.
  • Provide technical support to field service technicians during startup, repair, and installation services for control systems.

USEMCO produces equipment for clean water and wastewater handling. Its in-house Engineering Department designs and builds projects to customer specifications, and it can engineer and fabricate any metal structure. The company is ASME certified to manufacture pressure vessels.
