Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, marketing, or a related field, or graduation from an approved school of nursing, therapy, or social work; equivalent years of work experience may substitute for the degree.
  • At least two years of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, marketing, or sales.
  • Demonstrated experience and understanding of federal, state, and local laws and regulatory guidelines governing Medicare-certified home health and hospice operations.
  • A valid state driver's license in the current state of residence.
  • Automobile liability insurance as required by law.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • For clinical candidates, a clinical license maintained according to state requirements and applicable board rules.
  • Dependable transportation in good working condition and the ability to drive safely in all weather conditions.
  • Oral and written communication, fluency in English, and active listening.
  • Intermediate technology skills, especially Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
  • In-office attendance is essential except for designated full-time remote positions.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary relationship manager between the company and referral sources, including physicians, physician practices, hospitals, health systems, inpatient facilities, senior living communities, professional associations, and other healthcare organizations or professionals.
  • Support referral growth by providing awareness and education about company services and program requirements to referral sources, patients, families, caregivers, and community partners.
  • Help stakeholders navigate post-acute care transitions to improve patient outcomes, support care transitions, and promote quality and patient and referral-source satisfaction.
