Responsibilities
  • Grow and retain existing contract revenue within the assigned customer portfolio.
  • Initiate sales activity for new business development while working with Sales Specialists.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships in association with the Client Engagement Specialist.
  • Develop business opportunities across all products through relationship building, competitive analysis, cold calling, industry knowledge, market analysis, and execution of a territory growth plan.
  • Generate new Dow Jones revenue by selling products and services that address customers’ business needs.
  • Retain Dow Jones contract revenue in the assigned client portfolio and ensure products and services address customers’ business needs.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction through regular communication and build solid working relationships with each customer.
  • Develop and execute plans to upsell and cross-sell, manage account renewals, initiate timely client communication, and fulfill contractual obligations for providing account information.
  • Manage all areas of account management, including understanding client businesses, resolving issues promptly, and identifying competitor solutions and current and developing client needs.
  • Ensure appropriate customer training and awareness through personal efforts and partnership with the Account Development Team.
  • Work on retention initiatives for selected customers with the extended sales team.
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition and benefits of Dow Jones products and solutions and use product knowledge to address client needs.
  • Manage the sales forecast and pipeline, including reporting forthcoming renewals, additional sales opportunities, associated revenue, and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate and appropriate client records in the global customer relationship management system.
  • Develop opportunities and retain customers within the French territory while reporting to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Support customers across the Factiva, Risk and Compliance, and Global Risk Insights product families.
