Zola is a wedding planning platform that helps engaged couples manage every aspect of their wedding in one place. It offers customizable invitations, venue and vendor recommendations, and tools to create and manage a gift registry and guest lists. How it works: couples use Zola’s site to plan and organize, track RSVPs and meal choices, and coordinate gifts, with a unique option to exchange gifts before shipping for credits. Revenue comes from commissions with vendors and venues booked through the site and from selling wedding-related products like invitations. How it differs: unlike many services that focus on a single task, Zola combines invitations, registry, guest-list management, and vendor discovery into a single, integrated platform, and it includes a registry with prepaid credit for gifts. Its goal: make wedding planning simpler and more streamlined for couples by providing a comprehensive, easy-to-use set of tools in one place.

I Just Inherited $100K And My Fiancée Says I’M Being ‘Stingy’ For Refusing To Spend It On A ‘Dream’ Wedding

When Jim’s grandmother passed away, he didn’t just inherit her favorite teacups or photo albums — he inherited $100,000, and with it, a dream she always had for him: building a future, buying a home and starting a family. Not long ago, Jim proposed to his girlfriend of three years. They’d been planning a small, intimate wedding with a budget of around $20,000 — part of which would come from their parents. They hadn’t saved much of their own money and didn’t want to go into debt for just one day. But since Jim received news of his inheritance, his fiancée has seemingly switched gears. Now she wants a glitzy destination wedding, a designer dress and a much longer guest list

Zola Expands Into Emerging Technology With Launch Of Split The Decisions Gpt

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Today Zola, the most trusted authority in the wedding planning industry, announced the launch of Split the Decisions, an AI tool to help couples divide the decisions in wedding planning equally. Invisible labor affects many relationships, and wedding planning can bring those imbalances to light in a major way. Decision fatigue also plays a role when one partner is taking on more than the other, and it can cause friction. By Zola’s estimates, couples make more than 500 decisions over the course of planning a wedding, and the “mental load” often falls on one person. In fact, the number one thing that couples told Zola they want to change about wedding planning in its annual First Look Report is the assumption that one person is going to do everything. “What makes this exciting and powerful is not the technology, it’s the reason why we did it in the first place
