Requirements

  • The candidate must be studying Business, Industrial Engineering, or Information Systems with a focus on Logistics or Supply Chain Management, or be in the gap year between bachelor's and master's studies.
  • The candidate should be interested in the logistics processes of a global corporation and want to deepen their knowledge through practical experience.
  • The candidate must handle assigned tasks independently and responsibly.
  • The candidate must be comfortable using Microsoft Office.
  • The candidate must have very good spoken and written German and English skills.

Responsibilities

  • Apply theoretical knowledge from studies to practical tasks and develop solutions to distribution-related questions about product distribution.
  • Analyze logistical challenges and use problem-solving and Lean methods to develop efficient and sustainable solutions.
  • After onboarding in the fundamentals, take responsibility for specific activities and smaller projects or subprojects.
  • Participate in needs-based visits to distribution centers and gain insight into process-related collaboration with service providers.
  • Work closely with other departments and external logistics partners to develop a broad understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Actively support daily operations and gain exposure to transport and warehousing.
