Junior Hydrogeologist
About the job
- A bachelor's degree in Science with a focus on groundwater and hydrogeology.
- One to three years of related work experience in consulting or the mining industry, including previous experience supervising drilling programs.
- Willingness to travel and participate in field programs in remote locations throughout British Columbia and Yukon.
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Perform fieldwork on hydrogeological programs, including groundwater sampling, supervision of borehole drilling and monitoring well installation, tracer studies, pumping tests, and packer tests.
- Provide technical input to projects throughout Ensero.
- Communicate groundwater data through data analysis and report writing.
- Operate and maintain specialized field testing and monitoring equipment.
- Prepare factual and interpretive reports on field data and site conditions.
- Interface with other technical experts to achieve multidisciplinary project goals.
- Monitor and promote environmental health and worker safety.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Excellent communication and technical report-writing skills.
