Roadway Project Engineer

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our Roadway Design team in St. Louis. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed Professional Engineer with roadway design experience who is looking to leverage their technical expertise in roadway design, grow professionally, and contribute to meaningful transportation projects as part of a 100% employee-owned company.

In this position, you will:

Support the planning, design, and delivery of roadway design projects.
Contribute to the preparation of project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
Perform engineering analyses and design. Prepare design calculations, plans, specifications, estimates, and other project deliverables.
Apply engineering techniques, methods, and design criteria.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client objectives.
Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and specifications.
Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
May be involved in the development and mentorship of early-career engineers and technical staff.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive civil engineering experience in roadway/highway design
• Experience with Civil 3D and/or OpenRoads Designer.
