About the company

Bank of America runs one of the largest US banks, serving consumers, small businesses, wealthy families, corporations and institutional investors. Alongside checking accounts, credit cards, mortgages and business loans, it owns the Merrill brokerage, a private bank for wealthy clients and a global investment bank that advises on deals and trades stocks and bonds. Customers reach it through thousands of branches and ATMs and its mobile banking app. It earns money mainly from the gap between what it charges on loans and pays on deposits, plus fees from advice, asset management, deal work and trading. West Pharmaceutical Services replaces 2019 facility with $950M five-year credit agreement

West Pharmaceutical Services has signed a new $950 million unsecured credit agreement, replacing its 2019 facility, according to an 8-K filing dated October 26, 2026. The five-year deal includes a $750 million revolving credit line and a $200 million term loan, which the company drew on the effective date. Bank of America, N.A. is the administrative agent. The Pennsylvania-based company used part of the proceeds to repay the $130 million outstanding under the 2019 agreement, which was then terminated without early termination fees. West plans to use the funds for working capital, capital expenditure, acquisitions, stock repurchases, and debt repayment. The agreement caps its Net Leverage Ratio at 3.50 to 1.0, rising to 4.00 to 1.0 during significant acquisitions.

Blackstone unveils $63B Broadcom financing deal with BofA, Citi and Morgan Stanley

Blackstone has announced a $63 billion financing deal with Broadcom and a group of banks that includes Bank of America, Citi, and Morgan Stanley. Its shares edged higher on the day, trading at $119.06. The asset manager has a market value near $136.61 billion. Fifty of 93 analysts rate the stock a buy, with a median price target of $138, about 15.9% above the current level. Shares sit at support around $118.74 and trade below their 50-day and 200-day moving averages. A close above $125.04 would signal buyers are following through, while a drop below $118.74 would suggest the move is fading.
