About the job
- Proven working experience as a Bartender of a minimum of 2 years.
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons.
- Take beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serve drinks as requested, paying close attention to detail.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
- Maintain a well-groomed appearance and be ready for work.
- Complete checklists and opening and closing procedures for every shift.
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety by inspecting equipment and the physical interior and exterior of the restaurant or building.
- Manage the bar's cash bank, petty cash, and sales money.
- Process daily cash reports and perform daily end-of-day financial closing duties.
- Ensure food-safety standards and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) requirements are maintained and implemented in line with company policy and municipality requirements.
- Knowledge of a second language.
