Requirements
  • University Degree in Business, Information Technology, related major or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, Prince 2) would be an asset.
  • Experience with SaaS/Cloud technologies and integrations with multiple systems is essential.
  • Experience with ERP implementations, including 5 years directly managing ERP projects such as Dynamics 365, JD Edwards, Infor LN in General Contracting, Manufacturing, or similar industries. Implementation experience in Finance systems is a significant asset.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP applications in procurement, manufacturing, warehouse management, finance, corporate performance management, BI and data analytics.
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle, including planning, executing, and closing projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Proven track record of coordinating with external system integrators, software providers, and consultants throughout an ERP project lifecycle.
  • Experience with vendor selection during RFP processes and end-to-end implementation of large-scale multi-year ERP projects.
  • Experience with SaaS/Cloud technologies and integrations with multiple systems is essential.
  • Proficiency in English; French language would be an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, define scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Create work breakdown structures (WBS) and plan resource allocations. Plan and co-ordinate all test phases and go-live cut over activities.
  • Work closely with the vendor project managers and project teams to successfully build, develop, test, and deploy a new ERP solution.
  • Manage and update project documentation in Jira boards, manage decision logs, issue logs, risk registers via Confluence and other IT tools. Prepare project status reports, presentations, and documentation as required.
  • Provide oversight to project resources and allocate resources efficiently. Liaison with resource managers to obtain resource allocation approvals. Monitor resource utilization and manage adjustments as needed to optimize project performance.
  • Oversee data migration process, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and security. Prepare data migration plans and align them with respective ERP test phases.
  • Effectively communicate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to align project objectives with organizational goals. Manage expectations and provide weekly updates. Ensure clear and timely communication among team members and relevant parties.
  • Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies and implement contingency plans. Proactively address issues that may impact project. Facilitate discussions on core decisions, issues and risks.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to project specifications. Conduct regular quality reviews and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain project quality.
  • Monitor and report budgets, track costs, burn down chart and variances throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure projects are delivered within budget constraints and justify any deviations. Prepare earned value metrics to measure project performance and progress.
  • Manage changes to scope, schedule, or resources, assessing the impact on objectives and stakeholders. Leverage change control processes to document and track changes effectively.
  • Provide post implementation support to address issues and ensure system stability. Lead closure activities, including formal acceptance of deliverables, handover to business operational teams, and post-project evaluation. Capture lessons learned for future projects.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP, Prince 2) and Change management (CCMP, CM2) would be an asset.
  • Implementation experience in Finance systems is a significant asset.
  • French language would be an asset.
