Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
- Five years of experience is required for support roles, or zero to two years of experience for professional roles.
- The employee must maintain accurate financial data for internal and external reporting requirements.
- The employee must research financial errors, reconcile out-of-balance files, and ensure corrective action is taken.
Responsibilities
- Maintain claims, expense, premium income, and investment information in coordination with an automated system.
- Prepare appropriate reports and projections.
- Review, analyze, and evaluate existing policies, programs, plans, systems, operations, procedures, and documents to develop improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
- Assist in developing program performance standards.
- Collect, assimilate, and ensure the accuracy of financial data for internal and external reporting requirements.
- Reconcile situations when files are out of balance, research errors, and ensure corrective action is taken.
- Assist in developing procedural manuals for company use and advise appropriate company officers regarding applicable regulations.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets and budget requests.
- Provide internal auditing and liaison services.
- Review and evaluate institutions' financial status, including loan files, cash accounts, and investment accounts.
