Electrical Draftsperson
About the job
- A diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- At least five years of experience in electrical drafting is required.
- Proficiency in EPLAN and AutoCAD is required.
- A strong understanding of electrical design principles and standards is required.
- Attention to detail and accuracy are required.
- Communication and teamwork skills are required.
- Create detailed technical drawings, schematics, and layout diagrams for electrical panels based on specifications and requirements.
- Investigate and create Single Line Diagrams used to model fault level, load usage, and coordination.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop and refine electrical designs.
- Ensure drawings and plans are accurate, complete, and adhere to industry standards and regulations.
- Use EPLAN and AutoCAD software to create detailed electrical drawing packs.
- Review and revise drawings to incorporate feedback, changes, and updates throughout the project lifecycle.
