Summary of Job:

The Job Seeker Profile team aims to continuously understand a job seeker’s experience, qualifications, and career objectives. ZipRecruiter’s AI-driven matching technology leverages Profile data to connect employers and job seekers. As the Product Manager II of the Profile team, you will own and improve our understanding of our job seekers and their objectives. That includes data collection, processing, storage, and consumption by internal ML models and user-facing use cases. Clear communication and close partnership with cross-functional teams are crucial to succeed in this role.

Key Focuses:

• Become the domain expert in our job seeker data and the representation of their career objectives 
• Build empathy for our job seekers by constantly using the product
• Write specs, manage project execution, and define product rollout strategy and communications
• Deliver product roadmap and write documentation for technical and non-technical audiences
• Work with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and ML teams to prioritize and launch improvements to the Job Seeker Profile data stack and to drive more connections between job seekers and employers 
• Understand internal and external use cases designing interfaces that are easy to use, and ensuring the data product optimizes for business outcomes. 
• Own profile features end-to-end, from design, to front-end implementation, to back-end data storage, to testing and monitoring. 

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in product management 
• Strong foundation in analytics, data technologies, and data principles
• Demonstrable track record in successful cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to create clarity and drive focus in complex and dynamic contexts
• Data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data to extract meaningful insights
• Technical aptitude and attention to detail without losing sense of the bigger picture

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in data-related product roles
• 4+ years of professional experience in product management
• Successful experience operating and excelling in technical and cross-functional environments
• Experience owning a user experience from front end UI to back end data storage

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 - $175,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and the range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, role-related knowledge and skills, depth of experience, relevant education or training, and additional role-related considerations.

Depending on the position offered, equity, bonuses, commission, or other forms of compensation may also be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
