Paul Holmes 05 Aug 2026 // 9:30AM GMT WASHINGTON, DC - FGS Global has acquired Rich Feuer Anderson, a bipartisan government affairs firm based in Washington, DC, with more than two decades of experience advising financial services and energy clients on the full intersection of politics, policy, and regulation. The acquisition will combine RFA's advocacy expertise and regulatory access with FGS's strategic communications, transaction advisory, and crisis management capabilities and s global reach. Both firms have substantial expertise in the regulated financial services and energy sectors. "Financial services and energy are two of the most rapidly shifting and dynamic industries globally, and the clients we serve in these sectors are asking for something the market has not yet delivered: Washington policy depth, regulatory access, and world-class communications under one roof," says Winnie Lerner (pictured), partner and North America CEO of FGS. Founded in 2003, RFA advises Fortune 500 companies, fintech startups, banks, asset managers, insurance companies, energy producers, utilities, as well as energy storage and infrastructure companies, among others, on t high-stakes regulatory and legislative policy challenges. The firm has built a model that goes beyond traditional lobbying to offer regulatory risk analysis, investment diligence, written policy collateral, and political risk and congressional oversight counsel. VNO-NCW top man Focco Vijselaar becomes partner at FGS Global. 03 July 2026 Consultancy.nl Focco Vijselaar will join FGS Global in the Netherlands as a partner on September 1. The 55-year-old Vijselaar is moving from employers' organization VNO-NCW, where he served as general director for the past three and a half years. In that role, he was the face of Dutch business towards politics and government. Earlier, Vijselaar held various management positions at the intersection of policy, politics, and business, including at the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate. Before that, he worked at De Nederlandsche Bank and the European Central Bank in Frankfurt. About his move to FGS Global, a firm specializing in corporate communications, public affairs, and reputation management, Vijselaar says: 'Business, government, and other stakeholders need each other. Companies are looking for an advisor who understands the entire playing field and can help them at both national and international levels. Paul Holmes 27 Jun 2026 // 11:03AM GMT LONDON - Brunswick Group, FGS Global and FTI Consulting are the top three firms globally when it comes to litigation PR and communications, according to legal data and intelligence expert Chambers. Every year, Chambers conducts thousands of in-depth interviews with clients in order to assess the reputation and expertise of advisors and issues a series of in-depth reports on a variety of disciplines, including PR and communications. Firms are ranked in a number of bands, with the highest rates in Band One. This year's global report included particular focus on the heightened litigation risks posed by geopolitical turmoil, such as aircraft leasing companies lodging multi-billion-dollar claims in London against insurers over planes that had been stranded in Russia after the invasion of Ukraine. Commentary on the three firms in Band One globally: * "Brunswick was brilliant, responsive and on the ball," says one client quoted in the report. "The firm had a really good strategy and the communications plan worked well. There is a big team but there is always someone there if needed." * "FGS has a mix of policy experts together with consultants with business and government backgrounds from different geographies, plus a strong external network." * "FTI has excellent collaboration and understanding with the legal practice handling the case.
