Requirements
  • For the LPN pathway, graduate from a practical nursing education program accepted for licensure.
  • Have a high school diploma or GED for the LPN pathway.
  • For the credentialed medical assistant pathway, hold a medical assistant credential from an approved Munson Healthcare credentialing organization.
  • Obtain and maintain Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of hire for the credentialed medical assistant pathway.
  • Meet Munson Healthcare vaccination or approved exemption requirements for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and influenza.
Responsibilities
  • Complete clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic.
  • Work alongside the provider to support patient care and smooth clinic operations.
  • Serve as the first point of patient care within the clinic.
  • Room and prepare patients according to clinic-specific checklists or procedures.
  • Measure patient weight, height, oxygen saturation, respiration, temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other patient-care metrics as required by the clinic.
  • Complete required patient-care documentation, including medical histories and referral requests.
  • Assist with day-to-day clinic operations to support optimal patient care.
  • Assist fellow teammates and providers when necessary.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in a hospital, home health, office, or long-term care setting is preferred for the LPN pathway.
  • High school graduation or GED equivalent is preferred for the credentialed medical assistant pathway.
  • Basic Life Support certification is preferred.
  • Phlebotomy experience is highly preferred.
