Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in squadron administration, commander’s support, readiness or administrative support, deployment support, UDM-related support, or a comparable military administrative environment is required.
  • Experience maintaining administrative reports, correspondence, folders, or readiness and deployment data is required.
  • The ability to coordinate with flight leadership, UDMs, and support offices is required.
  • Strong organizational and customer-service skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist flight commanders with data requested by the Commander’s Support Staff in support of administrative programs, including task management, fitness, safety, security, supply, and manning programs.
  • Assist flight commanders with preparing, maintaining, and disposing of administrative reports and correspondence.
  • Serve as the point of contact for newly assigned aircrew, orienting them to the organization, introducing key personnel, and scheduling initial training and orientation requirements.
  • Coordinate with the UDM to schedule required pre-departure training for deploying personnel and their supervision.
  • Provide deployment data and information to enable coordination with wing, base, and higher-headquarters offices, and maintain mobility and training folders and documentation in accordance with the DoD Foreign Clearance Guide, AFI 10-403, AFI 33-332, Geographic Combatant Command, Major Command, installation supplements, and local guidance.
  • Prepare and submit purchase requirements supporting aircrew deployment to the UDM and resource advisor.
  • Provide aircrew pre-deployment and post-deployment mobility, logistics, security, ancillary training, medical, and dental requirements to the UDM.
  • Assist flight commanders with deployment-reporting data collection in the Defense Readiness Reporting System, Status of Resources and Training System, and Air Expeditionary Force Reporting Tool, including Unit Type Code posturing and individual status updates, and provide the information to the commander and UDM.
Desired Qualifications
  • An Associate’s degree is preferred in business administration, office administration, human resources, logistics, or a related field.
