Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • MBA or CPA
  • 7-10 years of experience preferred in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on retail or consumer goods.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis, with expertise in Excel and financial planning software.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, inventory, and margin analysis.

  • Proven experience in a coach-player role, showcasing the ability to lead and contribute hands-on.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes for the retail channel.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and decision-making. Topics include: Store CAPEX payback, Bonus/Commission structure strategy/refinement, Tech implementation planning (ie. Mobile dressing room, omni channel programs), 4-Wall profitability analysis, International profitability analysis, Long-range planning.
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Monitor and evaluate retail 4-wall store performance, including sales, margins, payroll expenses, and profitability.
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve store performance and drive profitability.
  • Partner with retail operations to develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results and conduct in-depth variance analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in retail performance.
  • Communicate financial insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Set clear goals and expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
