The Leadership Schoolprepares students to be in the driver’s seat of their own learning and to navigate the path toward the lives they imagine for themselves.We are the first public charter school in St. Louis County, paving the way for educational choice and opportunity for all families in the St. Louis area.We opened our doors in 2022 and serve K-5 students in the Normandy area. We are building our team of hardworking, results-oriented educators who embody our mission: to grow our students’ leadership capacity through earnest engagement in academically rigorous, culturally relevant, and relationship-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities 

• Internalize and own provided curricula to deliver high-quality instruction every single day
• Prepare supplemental resources that lead students to a deep understanding of content
• Inspire high levels of motivation & investment in behavioral & academic expectations by maintaining clear and consistent expectations
• Analyze data, adjust lesson plans & instructional methods based on data, & create a long-term plan for unfinished learning
• Communicate clearly & often with families to ensure alignment between school & home expectations
• Implement school-wide and classroom routines and procedures with fidelity to ensure a healthy learning environment

To provide students with the best possible learning environment, TLS must attract, develop, and retain high-quality teachers and leaders. Our innovative staff model is designed to create a supportive, motivating, and sustainable environment for all staff.In order to build a sustainable work environment, TLS will provide on-going coaching and development, dedicated time for content teams to collaborate and flexibility in the hours a teacher and leaders spend on campus.
