The Newgrange School is a private, non-profit special education school in Hopewell, New Jersey serving students aged 7–21 with language-based learning differences in grades 1–12. It uses individualized, multisensory instruction with a low student-teacher ratio (5:1) and literacy methods like Orton-Gillingham and Wilson Reading System. Students are grouped by ability rather than age and can access programs such as occupational therapy, speech therapy, a Flex Class, and the Transition Intensive Program with an Independent Living Studio. Its goal is to improve educational outcomes and prepare students for post-secondary life through tailored, skill-building education not typically offered in traditional schools.
