  • 5+ years of software development experience or relative with large-scale web-based applications.
  • 2+ years of management or lead experience in engineering teams
  • 2+ years of React/Javascript experience at an enterprise level
  • Worked closely with cross-functional teams of product management, researchers, and designers to deliver software to customers
  • Strong technical expertise in software development and engineering best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to a wide variety of audiences.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of dynamic software developers building consumer base UX that empowers customers as well as all internal teams at Workday.
  • Offer coaching, mentoring, and support to direct report staff in both technical and non-technical issues.
  • Provide support for their career growth and personal development.
  • Work closely with multi-functional teams towards operational excellence.
  • Partner with Product Management to develop a release scope and to ensure that features meet requirements.
  • Drive process improvement within a development organization.
  • Institute and embrace excellent engineering practices.
