- A four-year degree in Human Services is required.

- Provide teaching, supervision, and support in accordance with OMH 593 and 595, including restorative services such as assertiveness and self-advocacy training, community integration and resource development, daily living skills, health services, medication management and training, parenting training, rehabilitative counseling, skill development, socialization, substance abuse services, and symptom management.
- Ensure that each resident receives comprehensive planning for admission, ongoing treatment and training, and discharge or transfer, with each plan complete and up to date in accordance with standards of practice and New York State Office of Mental Health requirements.
- Observe, monitor, and document resident behaviors and progress in accordance with agency standards.
- Plan, implement, and supervise recreational activities.
- Ensure that supervision, ordering, and documentation of resident medications comply with agency policies.
- Perform duties necessary for the effective and efficient operation of the Apartment Treatment Site.
- Assign, train, supervise, and evaluate the daily activities of staff and volunteers, and schedule their hours to maintain appropriate coverage in collaboration with the Program Director.
- Ensure that all required resident care documentation is completed in accordance with OMH and agency standards.
- Conduct in-service training.
- Ensure that site staff are trained and competent in medication-related skills.
- Ensure that site staff receive mandatory agency training.
- Supervise building maintenance and coordinate fire safety procedures and resident move-ins.
- Maintain positive relationships with community groups, including the Community Advisory Board, to ensure continuity of care for residents.
- Interview candidates and make hiring recommendations to the supervisor.
- Attend required staff meetings and trainings and work as a member of the residential team for each resident.
- Provide relevant input for treatment team meetings, staff meetings, utilization reviews, and other meetings.
- Observe all safety rules and regulations for self and others.
- Collaborate with the Rehabilitation and Compliance Manager in the absence of the Program Director to oversee the Apartment Treatment Site.
- Remain available on call to support staff after hours and in emergencies.

Pan-American Square Apartments wins Community Impact Award. SWBR Company is pleased to announce that DePaul Pan-American Square Apartments has been recognized with the 2025 Community Impact Award by the Buffalo/WNY Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. This award honors projects that make a meaningful difference in their communities through thoughtful, inclusive design. Completed earlier this year, Pan-American Square Apartments transformed a former rail corridor into a 150-unit affordable and supportive housing community in Buffalo, NY. Designed to Passive House standards, the development provides energy-efficient homes and essential services for seniors and individuals experiencing homelessness or mental illness. More than housing, it is a catalyst for community revitalization, delivering stability, sustainability, and hope for Buffalo's most vulnerable residents. Jury Comment: The integration of community-based programs and sustainable design at the Pan-American Square Apartments struck the jury. Exemplifying the criteria of the Community Award, the Pan-American Square Apartments took a holistic approach to senior living and supportive housing that will have a lasting positive impact on the WNY community. It is clear that this project will uplift and provide stability for the most vulnerable members of its community and the design team took every opportunity to maximize resources available to its residents. SWBR provided architectural, interior design, structural engineering, landscape architecture, and graphic design services for the project. The awards celebration was held Thursday, November 6 in Buffalo, NY.
