  • B.S. and 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Good understanding of RF Fundamentals, Radio architectures, RF component and circuit integration into consumer products
  • Expert in one or more connectivity wireless system like WiFi, Bluetooth, UWB or NFC
  • Experience with at least one RF simulation tool such as HFSS, ADS, Matlab or SystemVue
  • Must be an excellent communicator, both written and oral
Responsibilities
  • Work on a small design team focused on the integration of multiple wireless technologies into a new Apple product
  • Own their technology from concept through product introduction
  • Includes front-end architecture, and component specification
  • Build and design RF line-up spreadsheets and modeling
  • Perform characterization, design optimization and failure analysis
  • Work proactively with other cross-functional engineering groups such as antenna design, product design, production test, regulatory, reliability, and software engineering
  • Required international travel to support product development as needed (15%)
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD is preferred
  • Experience leading projects from definition stage to mass production
  • Experience in architectural discussion with cross-functional leaders related to power supply and digital design for connectivity solutions
  • Experience with RF components and circuits design and integration into consumer products
  • Successful track record of delivering highly innovative, and high quality communications products
