Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or another engineering or technical discipline is required; 8 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • Four to seven years of experience engineering robust solutions for large-scale software deployment using operating system deployment technologies such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
  • Four to seven years of experience providing Systems Center Configuration Manager administration and patch management support for enterprise servers and client workstations.
  • Four to seven years of experience implementing, updating, and maintaining enterprise configuration-management automation software, security-configuration applications, and packages for network systems.
  • Four to seven years of experience analyzing enterprise configuration-management implementations and adjusting administrative environments to improve deployments and patching levels.
  • Four to seven years of experience providing Tier 3 support for enterprise hardware and software products and services, including servers, clients, mobile devices, Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange, Systems Center Configuration Manager, and Systems Center Operations Manager.
  • Experience validating deployment plans for compliance with enterprise server and workstation software and security updates.
  • Experience troubleshooting configuration-management problems and documenting known issues or inefficiencies.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
  • Previous experience at the Department of Veterans Affairs is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and support enterprise Windows endpoints, device-management systems, and endpoint-security tools.
  • Maintain operating-system configurations.
  • Deploy updates and software, enforce compliance, and ensure device performance.
  • Perform troubleshooting, log analysis, and debugging to resolve user-reported issues and maintain a secure, reliable endpoint environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience at the Department of Veterans Affairs.
  • Remotely access government-managed systems to diagnose and resolve Systems Center Configuration Manager endpoint issues.
  • Manage and prioritize trouble-ticket queues, perform trend and root-cause analysis, and document actions in the ticketing system.
  • Monitor assets using Systems Center Configuration Manager, Systems Center Operations Manager, and related tools to ensure service availability and restore systems after maintenance windows.
  • Prepare and distribute situational reports and executive summaries for critical service outages when required.
  • Communicate with customers, stakeholders, and technical teams; lead technical discussions and present briefing materials aligned with Department of Veterans Affairs requirements.
  • Provide status reports before and after engineered and executed remediation actions.
  • Understand application deployments and configuration within Microsoft Intune.
  • Participate in co-management or hybrid scenarios when applicable.

Under Lindsay Goldberg's ownership since 2020, LTS grew revenue and EBITDA by over 150%, expanded to all 50 states, and executed 15 strategic acquisitions. The transaction terms were not disclosed.
