Junior CAD Designer - Export Market
About the job
- Minimum 3 years of experience in jewellery CAD design for export markets.
- Strong understanding of stone setting, diamond layouts, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to make fast, accurate revisions in response to client changes while maintaining quality under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without missing deadlines.
- Basic Excel skills for tracking and logging work.
- Clear written and verbal communication with the office team.
- Proficiency in Rhinoceros 3D (Rhino), MatrixGold or Matrix, and MS Office.
- Jewelry CAD or Jewelry Design certification, or relevant experience.
- A portfolio of previous CAD work is mandatory.
- Create and modify production-ready jewelry CAD models for export clients.
- Handle quick revisions and design changes based on client feedback.
- Maintain export-market standards for finishing, structure, and stone setting.
- Ensure proper metal weight, durability, and manufacturing feasibility.
- Deliver work within deadlines with high accuracy and quality.
- Experience serving USA or international clients is preferred.
