  • Must be a currently enrolled MICA undergraduate student at time of employment

Responsibilities
  • Serve as a committee co-chair with one other Program Manager, collectively overseeing a group of volunteer committee members (i.e. Program Assistants)
  • Collaborate with assigned committee to plan, market, and implement a minimum of two programs in the fall and three programs in the spring
  • Coordinate all activities in conjunction with planned events, including set-up, tear down, and clean up
  • Participate in weekly MICA Program Board staff meetings, every Wednesday from 2:15 -3:45 pm (1.5 hour)
  • Co-facilitate bi-weekly committee meetings (1 hour during every other staff meeting)
  • Attend weekly supervisory meeting (alternating weekly between 1 hour triad with co-chair and Program Director and 30 minute one-on-one with Program Director)
  • Maintain a minimum of three weekly office hours in CSE
  • Assist with the planning & implementation of all major CSE events including: Halloween Party; Last Blast
  • Assist as needed with general office representation (e.g. Open House, Portfolio Day, iLEAD, etc)
  • Support Fall Orientation, which may include serving as an Orientation Leader and/or coordinating evening programs and events
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience in program/event planning preferred but not required
