Requirements
  • Three to five years of experience in banking, banking operations, lending, loan documentation, or support roles interfacing with managers, executive team leads, customers, committees, and vendors.
  • An associate degree or two full years of college.
  • Working knowledge of deposit and lending compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel, and Internet applications.
  • Intermediate knowledge of bank systems.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and accumulate and organize factual data.
  • Ability to maintain positive, professional relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Gather pertinent documentation to clear consumer bank exceptions and follow through on requirements and data gathering associated with ordering executable loan documents from the appropriate in-house department or legal counsel.
  • Work closely with managers regarding maturing reports and consumer bank exceptions.
  • Focus on the overall bank relationship for customers, including loan and deposit relationships.
  • Initiate activities to resolve and correct compliance-related exceptions, deficiencies, or violations disclosed during regulatory examinations or compliance reviews.
  • Gather, track, and analyze data to assess the success of programs and processes and alert management to deficiencies.
  • Maintain an understanding of the integration between the platform system and core system and recommend changes that improve customer service without compromising compliance.
  • Perform compliance testing assessments to validate processes and procedures.
  • Add and remove accounts, provide account maintenance, produce and mail letters, initiate and respond to phone calls and inquiries, handle complaints and questions, perform collection calls, close accounts, and establish repayment plans for the overdraft program.
  • Promote profitable expansion of the overdraft program, including collection of overdrafts and accounts with negative balances.
  • Develop and provide training guidelines to staff regarding compliance concerns.
  • Keep internal and external customers informed of changes in operating methods.
  • Provide analyst staff support and customer service support to bank management and resolve overdraft and risk-related concerns.
  • Plan, design, and maintain infrastructure that enables effective overdraft-service support.
  • Promote processing services and resolve customer-support issues.
  • Direct, troubleshoot, and develop solutions for internal and external client issues and overdraft-related concerns.
  • Write procedures and validate and test that policies and procedures are implemented and consistently followed.
  • Recommend efficient, policy- and regulation-compliant resolutions to support and overdraft issues.
  • Escalate, track, and assist in resolving support issues related to overdraft and client concerns.
