Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related degree from an accredited program and 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the consulting industry; or an Associate degree and 5 years of relevant experience; or a High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 1 year of Procore experience.
  • Strong knowledge of and proficiency in standard engineering techniques and procedures for project and program management.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, computer-aided design platforms, geographic information systems, analysis programs, and data acquisition platforms.
  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn advanced new concepts and apply knowledge to deliverables.
Responsibilities
  • Provide development and deployment of advanced processes, tools, and technology to drive efficient project delivery.
  • Partner with project teams, project managers, business line managers, and division management throughout market and business trend evaluation, problem identification, solution creation, and implementation while adhering to budget constraints, design factors, and client needs.
  • Assist project teams in documenting business processes and identifying ways to improve project and service execution, workflow, and efficiency.
  • Present proposed project execution solutions, including software, hardware, code writing, and automated processes.
  • Execute proof-of-concept activities, including detailed savings, benefits, and automated process improvements.
  • Implement technology solutions to achieve successful stakeholder adoption.
  • Provide technology support to teams and processes to ensure optimal utilization.
  • Evaluate existing processes and technology tools and deploy new tools to improve efficiency and workflow on client projects.
  • Research and implement new technology and develop innovative approaches to services and client deliverables.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to present emerging trends, markets, and technologies to leadership.
  • Develop technologically innovative products, solutions, and services to create new revenue streams and improve project profit margins.
  • Assist in developing business cases for large investments and partnership initiatives.
  • Assist in presenting and launching new ventures through the Burns & McDonnell Launch program.
  • Develop and maintain external vendor relationships and evaluate integration of vendor solutions into business processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Information Technology and Strategic Initiatives, to build cohesive solutions for clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and comply with company policies and standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in the consulting industry.
  • Strong knowledge in computer logic and data analytics.
  • Engineers in Training certification.
