THE ROLE
Virtu is currently seeking a Triton Coverage Specialist in London for our global Triton Product Suite. The role will principally involve acting in a software support and account management capacity to buy-side Triton Suite client users along with managing training and educating them on functionality and working on new requirements with the Product Management team. The candidate will also be involved in supporting the sales process by assisting in creating proof of concept workflows and conducting demos.
The core requirement of the role is to show a strong aptitude for incident response and triage, customer satisfaction, requirements analysis, proactive attitude and strong collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders and business units. Other favorable experience would include prior employment with an EMS/OMS vendor, familiarity with European markets, FIX protocol, software development and or data base administration, clearing and settlement and algorithmic trading.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proactively train and service clients on EMS related projects
- Follow incident response protocol and consistently look to refine and improve the process
- Build strong relationships with individual client Triton users
- Educate client Triton users on product functionality and roadmap
- Feed new requests back into the Workflow Technology development team
- On-going communication with client users to understand their needs and to solicit their feedback
- Translate user needs into sets of technical requirements for Product Management
- Work effectively as a member of a Global product team
- Provide product specialist knowledge on sales calls to clients/prospects
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 5+ years industry experience (especially trading workflows)
- Solid knowledge of EMS / OMS products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Any coding or database experience considered favorably
- Team oriented, strong collaboration skills and curiosity of how things work
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills. Prior employment in client facing roles considered favorably.
- Understanding of software development processes (iteration planning, QA, UAT testing etc)
- A solid grounding in concepts underpinning the electronic trading. For example connectivity and routing (FIX protocol), clearing and settlement, algorithmic trading, DMA, OMS & EMS systems, alternative trading venues and smart order routing.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional client experiences through effective communication and problem-solving in a fast-paced client-facing role.
Preferred/additional qualifications:
- English language fluency, French or other additional languages a distinct advantage
- Coding experience including C++, .NET, JavaScript, Python
- SQL knowledge. Ability to perform simple-medium complex queries to extract data
- Data analysis: Familiarity/comfort taking raw data from logs or databases and structuring so that it can be used for analysis
