IT Applications Specialist - Industrial Solutions
About the job
- A bachelor's-level or completed degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Three to six years of experience supporting, administering, or implementing enterprise and industrial applications.
- Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA, especially the PM, MM, and WM modules.
- Knowledge and experience with SAP BTP, SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and cloud development solutions.
- Experience with Oracle Unifier and tools for project and asset management.
- Knowledge of SQL and HANA databases.
- Knowledge of IT architecture, data governance, and document management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Power Apps, and Power BI.
- Programming knowledge in ABAP, JavaScript, .NET, C#, Python, or R.
- Advanced English proficiency (minimum B2) and fluent Spanish.
- Availability to work a camp-based 5x2 schedule, Monday through Friday.
- Analyze user needs, define business processes, and propose improvements through digital solutions.
- Provide functional and technical support for the company's industrial platforms and applications.
- Participate in technology project implementation using existing solutions or new digital tools.
- Manage and address tickets related to application incidents, changes, improvements, and requests.
- Administer and support solutions including SAP ECC/S4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Oracle Primavera P6, Oracle Unifier, J5 Operations Management, PI System, Microsoft 365, and Power BI.
- Support development and automation activities using tools and languages including ABAP, JavaScript, .NET, C#, Python, and R.
- Support the administration and management of corporate databases.
- Coordinate with vendors to evaluate new solutions, obtain quotations, implement improvements, and follow up on specialized services.
- Document processes, configurations, and technical knowledge, and keep repositories up to date.
- Participate in scheduled activities or emergencies outside regular hours when operations require it.
- Promote compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards.
- Certifications or additional training in SAP, COBIT, PMP, DAMA, or agile methodologies are valued.
