  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering field is required.
  • At least 6 years of experience coding, building, monitoring, troubleshooting, designing, and operating AI/ML infrastructure, cloud platforms, data platforms, model deployment pipelines, or large-scale engineering solutions is required.
  • Strong understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts and the compute, infrastructure, orchestration, and deployment foundations required to run production AI systems is required.
  • At least 6 years of proficiency in programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, C++, Bash, PowerShell, or equivalent engineering languages is required.
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools such as Apache Airflow, Kubeflow, managed orchestration services, or platform-native workflow tooling is required.
  • Proven experience leading AI infrastructure projects and teams through technical direction, design reviews, delivery governance, and stakeholder alignment is required.
  • Strong project management, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills in client or enterprise environments are required.
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating and selecting AI technologies, frameworks, reference architectures, and platform services for production solutions is required.
  • Expert-level hands-on architecture experience with Databricks workspaces, clusters or serverless compute, jobs, MLflow, Model Registry, Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, feature engineering, and model-serving capabilities is required.
  • Deep knowledge of Spark-based distributed processing, training and model pipelines, lakehouse architecture, model deployment, data governance, observability, and resilience engineering is required.
  • Strong experience with Python, SQL, Spark, Terraform or Databricks Asset Bundles, Git-based continuous integration and continuous delivery, security guardrails, monitoring, and platform cost optimization is required.
  • Ability to evaluate multiple Databricks architecture options and produce standards, patterns, decision records, benchmarks, and executive-ready recommendations is required.
  • Experience applying MLOps, DataOps, and InfraOps practices for experiment tracking, model registry, deployment automation, monitoring, incident response, and rollback strategies is required.
Responsibilities
  • Architect and build custom artificial intelligence infrastructure and hardware solutions.
  • Optimize artificial intelligence infrastructure and hardware performance, power consumption, cost, and scalability of the computational stack.
  • Advise on artificial intelligence infrastructure technology and vendor evaluation, selection, and full-stack integration.
  • Set the overarching Databricks artificial intelligence infrastructure vision, strategy, and reference architecture for large-scale artificial intelligence, machine learning, and lakehouse systems, including workspace architecture, compute, storage, orchestration, model serving, and observability.
  • Own complex architectural decisions across Databricks workspaces, clusters or serverless compute, jobs, MLflow, Model Registry, Unity Catalog, feature engineering, Delta Lake, and cloud integrations, rationalizing options against client standards and business objectives.
  • Architect and prototype cost-optimized distributed training, feature engineering, and model-serving environments by building benchmarks, proof of concepts, and reusable implementation patterns.
  • Define architecture standards, reusable infrastructure-as-code patterns, continuous integration and continuous delivery approaches, machine learning pipeline deployment patterns, monitoring strategy, service-level agreements, service-level objectives, and cost and performance governance for production artificial intelligence and machine learning systems.
  • Lead architecture assessments and design reviews, validating findings through hands-on implementation, profiling, performance tuning, and troubleshooting across jobs, clusters, libraries, storage, security, and serving layers.
  • Evaluate emerging Databricks, lakehouse, vector search, large language model operations, and model-serving capabilities and recommend where they belong in enterprise solutions.
  • Provide executive- and client-level technical advisory by translating platform trade-offs into clear, defensible recommendations connected to business outcomes.
  • Mentor architects and technical architects, build community best practices, and represent the practice in internal and external technical forums.
Desired Qualifications
  • Databricks certifications such as Databricks Machine Learning Professional, Data Architect Professional, or related lakehouse architecture credentials.
  • Industry experience designing lakehouse and artificial intelligence infrastructure for banking, financial services and insurance, healthcare, retail or e-commerce, telecommunications, manufacturing, energy, or public-sector environments with compliance, security, and reliability constraints.
  • Exposure to large language model operations, vector search, retrieval pipelines, feature stores, graphics processing unit-backed model training, model optimization, and low-latency model serving.
  • Experience with Unity Catalog governance, enterprise architecture roadmaps, vendor or partner management, FinOps, and production support operating models.

Accenture shares down 27%, but 11.5% yield available through put options at 35% discount

Accenture trades 37% below its 52-week high after falling 27% over the past year. In fiscal Q3 2026, new bookings declined and some managed services deals slipped into fiscal 2027. The company generated $73.1 billion in revenue over the past twelve months, with operating margins widening to 17% in Q3. Managed services revenue grew 5% in local currency. In the first nine months of fiscal 2026, clients made 104 quarterly bookings exceeding $100 million, up 13% year-on-year. Consulting revenue grew just 1% in local currency in Q3. Management attributes the slowdown to the Middle East conflict affecting regional and discretionary spending. The CEO acknowledged that client budgets have not been growing, with spending simply being redirected rather than increased.

Accenture appoints Emma Chalwin as chief marketing officer

Accenture has appointed Emma Chalwin as Chief Marketing Officer, effective 1 October 2026. She will oversee global marketing and communications, reporting to Chair and CEO Julie Sweet. Accenture drops LearnVantage focus, shifts $9B to cybersecurity and mid-market expansion

Accenture is shifting its growth strategy, de-emphasising LearnVantage, a learning and training business it built and promoted heavily in 2024.
