About the company

LaplandUK produces immersive Christmas experiences for families, bringing Father Christmas' woodland home to life at its Ascot and Manchester destinations. The theatrical journey combines detailed sets, live characters and hands-on activities, with children helping in the toy factory before meeting Father Christmas. Families enter at a booked time and spend up to four and a half hours exploring the story, decorating gingerbread and skating in an elven village. The business sells admission to these seasonal productions, whose performances and family activities unfold across themed spaces and woodland paths. Founded in 2007, LaplandUK is headquartered in London.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Lapland extends visitor spending: its Elven Village sells festive decorations, toys and giftware alongside the theatrical experience.
  • Lapland's 2026 Ascot Father Christmas hold-pool terms: GBP20.50/hour training/show pay, plus GBP50/working-day subsidy paid monthly in arrears.
  • Lapland's 2026 Ascot warehouse hold pool lists a daily hot meal and station shuttle alongside off-site parking.

What critics are saying

  • Lapland's Father Christmas reserve pool in Ascot requires full October-December 2026 availability and a three-shift weekly minimum commitment.
  • Warehouse recruitment at Lapland's Ascot site is a 2026 reserve pool: the fully recruited team contacts applicants upon vacancies.
  • Lapland's 2026 Manchester Magic Elf reserve listing specifies mid-October to December 24 contracts and eight-hour shifts.

What makes LaplandUK unique

  • Lapland adds concierge service: Golden Experience tickets bundle private guides, a private feast and priority Father Christmas access.
  • Lapland adapts its show: subsidized Superstar Day tours run at reduced capacity in a quieter, more relaxed environment.
  • Lapland builds a published story world: its foundation books explain Father Christmas' origins and the Christmas elves' secrets.
